PI’s “What We Heard” Report enpsulates views from stakeholders and issue experts during a series of workshops across nada about a long-term sustainable vision for agriculture and agri-food growth. Growth for growth’s sake will not be enough but rather will require a perspective shaped or characterized by optimizing growth through enhancing natural pital and adopting innovation.
When PI was approached in March 2018 by the Government of the Northwest Territories (NWT) to undertake this study,? PI was very interested to examine how Barton Report growth strategies could be integrated into a renewed agriculture/food/health policy and regulatory framework in the specific jurisdictional context of the NWT.
